2626 An Act expanding access to legal, regulated cannabis delivery.
2727 Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to
2828 immediately remove unnecessary burdens from vulnerable social equity businesses before the
2929 end of the license exclusivity period, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law,
3030 necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.
3131 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
3232 of the same, as follows:
3333 1 Section 4 of Chapter 94G of the General Laws is amended by inserting, at the end of the
3434 2section, the following subsection:-
3535 3 (m) The commission shall not prohibit the delivery of cannabis by licensed delivery
3636 4operators or couriers to any municipality in the commonwealth nor to any establishment that
3737 5provides overnight lodging services to tourists and visitors, including but not limited to hotels,
3838 6motels, and resorts.
