| 29 | 29 | | of the same, as follows: |

| 30 | 30 | | 1 Chapter 15A of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 45 the |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | 2following section:- |

| 32 | 32 | | 3 Section 46. (a) Each public institution of higher education that provides housing for |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 4students shall establish a college campus recovery-focused housing program to provide an |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 5alcohol and drug-free environment for students recovering from substance use disorder. This |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 6program shall provide services including, but not limited to, trauma informed on-site counseling, |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 7mentoring, and peer support. (b) Each public institution of higher education shall provide |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 8overdose training to all students, faculty, and staff and shall make naloxone available for the |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | 9purpose of treating overdoses, as appropriate. |
