| 32 | 32 | | 1 Chapter 23B of the General Laws is hereby amended by adding the following section:- |

| 33 | 33 | | 2 Section 31. (a) The executive office of housing and livable communities shall, subject to |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 3appropriation, establish and operate a program to provide assistance to seniors and persons with |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 4disabilities to make accessibility modifications to their primary residence. |

| 36 | 36 | | 5 (b) The secretary of the executive office of housing and livable communities shall |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 6promulgate rules and regulations to establish the requirements and standards for the program. |
