Berthiaume, Jr. for legislation to establish a sick leave bank for Eric J. Iwaniec, an employee of the Trial Court. The Judiciary. [SIMILAR MATTER FILED IN PREVIOUS SESSION SEE HOUSE, NO. 5053 OF 2023-2024.] The Commonwealth of Massachusetts _______________ In the One Hundred and Ninety-Fourth General Court (2025-2026) _______________ An Act establishing a sick leave bank for Eric J. Iwaniec. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 Section 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Massachusetts 2Trial Court shall establish a sick leave bank for Eric J. Iwaniec, an employee of the Department. 3Any employee of the Department may voluntarily contribute 1 or more sick, personal or vacation 4days to the sick leave bank for use by Eric Iwaniec. If Eric Iwanieci terminates employment with 5the Department or requests to dissolve the sick leave bank, any remaining time in the sick leave 6bank shall be transferred to the extended illness leave bank. Sick leave bank days shall not be 7used for absences unrelated to the illness or disability that necessitated the establishment of the 8sick leave bank as determined by the Department. 9 Section 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
