2828 An Act to respect and protect domestic violence and sexual assault victims and survivors.
2929 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
3030 of the same, as follows:
3131 1 Section 97D, of Chapter 41, as so appearing in the 2020 General Laws, is hereby
3232 2amended by inserting the following after "performance of their duties" in line 14:-
3333 3 and (iii) police departments, district attorneys and other legal bodies shall respond to
3434 4public request for statistical data on reports of domestic violence, rape and sexual assault or
3535 5attempts to commit such offenses as well as for reports of abuse perpetrated by family or
3636 6household members, as defined in section 1 of chapter 209A, with personal information redacted
3737 7in accordance with Section 10 of Chapter 66;
