30 | 30 | | of the same, as follows: |

31 | 31 | | 1 Chapter 272 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 67 the |

32 | 32 | | 2following section:- |

33 | 33 | | 3 Section 67A. A person begging, or panhandling, to receive funds or alms: (i) within 20 |
---|
34 | 34 | | 4feet of a public way; and (ii) in a manner that is disorderly or disturbing, or which involves |

35 | 35 | | 5profane, obscene or indecent language or behavior, may be punished by no more than 3 months |

36 | 36 | | 6in the house of correction. |
