| 29 | 29 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | of the same, as follows: |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | 1 Section 32 of Chapter 119 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 2is hereby amended by adding at the end thereof the following paragraph:- the department shall |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 3screen potential grandparent care givers with a twenty year maximum look back on the potential |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 4guardian’s record. This is applicable to any minor infraction that has not been repeated since the |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 5first infraction. Instances of felonies, violence, and sexual offenses, no matter when it occurred, |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 6will not be removed from the look back. |
|---|
