| 29 | 29 | | 1 Section 148 of chapter 149 of the General Laws is hereby amended by striking out the |

| 30 | 30 | | 2fifth paragraph and inserting in place thereof the following paragraph:- |

| 31 | 31 | | 3 This section shall not apply to an employee of a co-operative association if he is a |

| 32 | 32 | | 4shareholder therein, unless he requests such association to pay him weekly, nor to casual |

| 33 | 33 | | 5employees as hereinbefore defined employed by the commonwealth or by any county, city or |
