2828 An Act relative to workers' compensation.
2929 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
3030 of the same, as follows:
3131 1 Section 45 of chapter 152 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition,
3232 2is hereby amended by inserting after the word 'forfeited' in line 13 the following sentence: -
3333 3 "If, as a result of the examination, the registered physician determines that the employee
3434 4is fit to return to work and the employee refuses to return to work, his right to compensation shall
3535 5be suspended, and his compensation during the period of suspension may be forfeited.”
