| 31 | 31 | | 1 Chapter 94C of the General Laws, as appearing in the most recent edition, is hereby |

| 32 | 32 | | 2amended by adding the following new section:- |

| 33 | 33 | | 3 Section 19B3/4. (a) The department shall issue regulations requiring each agency |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 4and board of the Commonwealth to (1) acquire and maintain opioid antagonist medication; and |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 5(2) train employees on an annual basis on the usage of such medication. |

| 36 | 36 | | 6 (b) The department shall issue nonmandatory guidance to private employers on (1) |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 7acquiring and maintaining opioid antagonist medication; and (2) training employees on an annual |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | 8basis on the usage of such medication. |
