30 | 30 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
---|
31 | 31 | | of the same, as follows: |
---|
32 | 32 | | 1 SECTION 1. Chapter 111 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition, |
---|
33 | 33 | | 2is hereby amended by adding the following section:- |
---|
34 | 34 | | 3 Section 245. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the |
---|
35 | 35 | | 4commonwealth shall not require proof of vaccination against COVID-19, mRNA vaccine, or |
---|
36 | 36 | | 5gene-altering procedure as a condition of entry to the Commonwealth. |
---|
37 | 37 | | 6 Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the commonwealth and all of |
---|
38 | 38 | | 7its agencies, authorities and political subdivisions shall not require proof of vaccination against |
---|
39 | 39 | | 8COVID-19, mRNA vaccine, or gene-altering procedure as a condition of entry to a public |
---|
40 | 40 | | 9building. |
---|
41 | 41 | | 10 Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, no public or private |
---|
42 | 42 | | 11elementary school, secondary school, high school, charter school, college, university or other |
---|
43 | 43 | | 12post-secondary institution of higher education shall require proof of vaccination against COVID- 2 of 2 |
---|
44 | 44 | | 1319, mRNA vaccine, or gene-altering procedure as a condition of enrollment, access to campus or |
---|
45 | 45 | | 14attendance in in-person classes. |
---|
46 | 46 | | 15 Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the commonwealth shall not |
---|
47 | 47 | | 16require any private business to require proof of vaccination against COVID-19, mRNA vaccine, |
---|
48 | 48 | | 17or gene-altering procedure as a condition of entry to the business, or access to employment by |
---|
49 | 49 | | 18such business. |
---|
50 | 50 | | 19 SECTION 2. The first paragraph of section 92A of chapter 272 of the General Laws, as |
---|
51 | 51 | | 20appearing in the 2022 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:- |
---|
52 | 52 | | 21 No owner, lessee, proprietor, manager, superintendent, agent or employee of any place of |
---|
53 | 53 | | 22public accommodation, resort or amusement shall, directly or indirectly, by themselves or |
---|
54 | 54 | | 23another, require proof of vaccination against COVID-19, mRNA vaccine, or gene-altering |
---|
55 | 55 | | 24procedure as a condition of entry to a place of public accommodation, resort or amusement. |
---|
