| 30 | 30 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | of the same, as follows: |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 1 Notwithstanding any general or special law, rule or regulation to the contrary, the |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 2department of public health shall promulgate regulations to require that, subject to appropriation, |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 3all child care programs, as licensed or authorized by the department of early education and care, |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 4and public schools undergo routine radon testing. Testing schedules, documentation of testing, |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 5standards for acceptable radon levels and plans for mitigation of unacceptable levels of radon |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 6shall be determined, and made public, by the department of public health within 1 year of the |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | 7enactment of this bill. |
