|---|
| 30 | 30 | | of the same, as follows: |

| 31 | 31 | | 1 Notwithstanding chapter 111 of the General Laws, or any other general or special law to |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 2the contrary, the department of public health shall waive the community-based health initiative |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 3requirement for the construction of a nursing facility that will have a geropsychiatric unit for any |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 4applicant that had to file a determination of need to meet the department of public health’s de- |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 5densifying requirements. |
