31 | 31 | | 1 Notwithstanding any special or general law to the contrary the Department of Public |

32 | 32 | | 2Health shall implement a food labeling program for commercially caught, landed and sold |
---|
33 | 33 | | 3saltwater fish including but not limited to tuna, mackerel, swordfish, grouper, striped bass and |
---|
34 | 34 | | 4bluefish. The label shall provide the consumer with information concerning the safety and the |
---|
35 | 35 | | 5risk factors of consumption of the fish based on toxin levels in the fish and their hazards to |
---|
36 | 36 | | 6human health, in particular the health of young children, women of child-bearing age and |
---|
37 | 37 | | 7pregnant women. |
