2525 An Act relative to loaning personal property.
2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2727 of the same, as follows:
2828 1 SECTION 1. Section 32 of Chapter 135 of the Acts of 2024, is hereby amended by
2929 2striking subsection 121B(b) in its entirety, and putting in place thereof:
3030 3 (b) All firearm transactions within the commonwealth, including, but not limited to, all
3131 4purchases, sales, rentals, leases, or other transfers shall be reported to the electronic firearms
3232 5registration system. All firearm transactions shall be reported by all parties to the transaction via
3333 6the electronic firearms registration system within 7 days of the sale, rental, lease, or other
3434 7transfer; provided, however, that no report shall be required for a loan of a firearm to a duly
3535 8licensed or exempted person for a period of less than 1 year.
