2828 An Act requiring public safety vehicles to be equipped with emergency thermal blankets.
2929 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
3030 of the same, as follows:
3131 1 Chapter 6A of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 18Z the
3232 2following section:-
3333 3 Section 18AA. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, all emergency
3434 4response vehicles shall be equipped with an emergency thermal blanket. For the purposes of this
3535 5section the term emergency response vehicle shall include, but not be limited to, a fire apparatus,
3636 6police vehicle, ambulance or disaster vehicle.
