The Commonwealth of Massachusetts _______________ In the One Hundred and Ninety-Fourth General Court (2025-2026) _______________ An Act to repeal expanded firearms bans. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 SECTION 1. Section 16 of Chapter 135 of the Acts of 2024 is hereby repealed. 2 SECTION 2. Section 22 of Chapter 135 of the Acts of 2024 is hereby amended by 3deleting subsection (iv) from the definition of “Large capacity firearm” in section 121. 4 SECTION 3. Section 49 of Chapter 135 of the Acts of 2024 is hereby amended by 5striking subsection 131(a). 6 SECTION 4. Section 71 of Chapter 135 of the Acts of 2024 is hereby repealed.
