2828 An Act relative to firefighter retirement benefits.
2929 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
3030 of the same, as follows:
3131 1 Section 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary,
3232 2Chapter 32 Section 94B(2) of the General Laws as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition is
3333 3hereby amended by striking the word five in line 27 and insert the word ten after the word within
3434 4in line 27.
3535 5 Section 2. Chapter 32 Section 94B (2) of the General Laws as appearing in the 2014
3636 6Official Edition is hereby amended by inserting in line 31 after the word compensation the
3737 7following words, in the event that such person retires in accordance with this section any
3838 8secondary cancer shall be covered in accordance with section 9 of this chapter.
