[SIMILAR MATTER FILED IN PREVIOUS SESSION SEE HOUSE, NO. 2549 OF 2023-2024.] The Commonwealth of Massachusetts _______________ In the One Hundred and Ninety-Fourth General Court (2025-2026) _______________ An Act relative to the amendment of M.G.L. c.32, section 4(2)(b) and 4(2)(c), solely as they relate to the calculation of Walter L. Guertin's pension. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 Section 1 2 Notwithstanding the provisions of sections 4(2)(b) and 4(2)(c) of chapter 32 or any other 3general or special law to the contrary, Walter Guertin shall receive a retirement allowance based 4upon the thirty-two years of creditable service calculated by the Attleboro Retirement Board as 5of the date of his retirement, November 17, 2017. 6 Section 2: 7 This act shall apply as of November 17, 2017, and the Attleboro Retirement Board shall 8pay to Walter Guertin any amounts owed between the date of retirement and the passage of this 9act. Said retirement allowance shall be subject to the provisions of section 103 of chapter 32.
