[SIMILAR MATTER FILED IN PREVIOUS SESSION SEE HOUSE, NO. 2637 OF 2023-2024.] The Commonwealth of Massachusetts _______________ In the One Hundred and Ninety-Fourth General Court (2025-2026) _______________ Resolve authorizing the study of cost of living increases for state police retirees. 1 Resolved, That there shall be a special commission to examine the feasibility of increases 2to Cost of Living Adjustments for retirees of the Massachusetts State Police. The commission 3shall consist of the chairs of the joint committee on public service, the executive director of the 4state retirement board, a member to be appointed by the chair of the MA public employee 5retirement administration commission and the president of MA retirees. 6 Said commission shall report to the house and senate committees on ways and means the 7results of its investigation recommendations together with drafts of legislation necessary to carry 8said recommendations into effect, by filing the same with the clerks of the house of 9representatives and senate on or before January 1, 2027.
