| 35 | 35 | | 1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law or rule or regulation to the |

| 36 | 36 | | 2contrary regulating the maximum age of applicants for appointment as police officer, Freddy |

| 37 | 37 | | 3Castaneda of the City of Haverhill, shall be eligible for appointment to the position of police |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | 4officer in the City if he meets all other requirements, in which case he shall be eligible for |
|---|
| 39 | 39 | | 5certification and appointment to the police department of the City of Haverhill. |
