| 29 | 29 | | 1 Section 6 of chapter 64H of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, |

| 30 | 30 | | 2is hereby amended by striking out subsection (u) and inserting in place thereof the following |

| 32 | 32 | | 4 (u) Sale of a motor vehicle purchased by or leased to and for the use of a person who has |

| 33 | 33 | | 5been determined by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs to have a permanent |

| 34 | 34 | | 6service-connected disability. This exemption shall apply to 1 motor vehicle only owned or leased |

| 35 | 35 | | 7and registered for the personal, noncommercial use of such person. |
