2929 An Act providing for the observance of election worker appreciation day.
3030 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
3131 of the same, as follows:
3232 1 Chapter 6 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 15LLLLLL,
3333 2inserted by section 1 of chapter 105 of the acts of 2020, the following section:-
3434 3 Section 15MMMMMM. The governor shall annually issue a proclamation setting apart
3535 4the Wednesday next after the first Monday in November in every even-numbered year as
3636 5Election Worker Appreciation Day, in recognition of the significant contributions that election
3737 6workers have made to the commonwealth and to the United States. The governor shall
3838 7recommend that said day be observed in an appropriate manner by the people.
