2828 An Act relative to replacement plans.
2929 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
3030 of the same, as follows:
3131 1 Section 115A of Chapter 164 of the general laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by
3232 2adding, in the first paragraph after the words "in accordance with law", the following:-; provided
3333 3however, that a gas company or municipal lighting plant may petition the department for
3434 4approval of an alternate gas meter replacement plan and the department may approve such an
3535 5alternate gas meter replacement plan and the department may approve such an alternate plan
3636 6upon a determination that the plan is consistent with the public interest.
