An Act relating to road building equipment classifications.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
of the same, as follows:
1 Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Massachusetts
2Department of Transportation shall amend the project guidelines relating to road building
3equipment classifications for chapter 90 work, by reducing the minimum weight requirement for
4trucks, from 27 thousand pounds to 16 thousand pounds.
