2828 An Act relative to expired licenses.
2929 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
3030 of the same, as follows:
3131 1 Chapter 90 of the General Laws as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition is hereby
3232 2amended by inserting after Section 10 the following section:-
3333 3 Section 10A. “No person who is operating a motor vehicle on an expired license shall be
3434 4in violation of section 10 of this chapter, however, a person who operates a motor vehicle on an
3535 5expired license shall be responsible for a civil violation with a fine of fifty dollars ($50.00), if the
3636 6expiration is less than ninety days old, and one hundred dollars ($100.00) if such expiration is
3737 7ninety days or greater.”
