| 29 | 29 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | of the same, as follows: |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | 1 SECTION 1. Section 1 of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020 |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 2Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the definition “Antique motor car” and |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 3inserting in place thereof the following definition:- |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 4 “Antique motor car”, any motor vehicle that is over 25 years old and not used by the |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 5owner primarily for general transportation purposes. The application for registration shall be |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 6accompanied by an affidavit upon a form provided by the registrar, which shall include: |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 7 (i) a statement by the owner that the antique motor vehicle is owned and operated solely |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | 8as an antique item and not primarily for general transportation purposes; and 2 of 2 |
|---|
| 39 | 39 | | 9 (ii) registration of another motor vehicle, in the owner’s name that is currently used by |
|---|
| 40 | 40 | | 10the owner for daily transportation purposes. |

| 41 | 41 | | 11 SECTION 2. Section 33 of said chapter 90, as so appearing, is hereby amended by |

| 42 | 42 | | 12striking out the (13) paragraph and inserting in place thereof the following paragraph:- For the |

| 43 | 43 | | 13registration of every antique motor car; provided that said fee shall be collected every 2 years. |
