| 29 | 29 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |

| 30 | 30 | | of the same, as follows: |

| 31 | 31 | | 1 SECTION 1. Chapter 60 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 2section 35 the following section:- |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 3 Section 35A. (a) No municipality shall publish or cause to be published the name, or |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 4other individually identifying information, of a veteran still owing a tax pursuant to this chapter |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 5after it has become due and payable. |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 6 (b) A municipality may communicate through the municipality’s veterans’ agent in order |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 7to provide notice and information related to a tax due and payable under this chapter to the |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | 8veteran owing such tax. 2 of 2 |

| 39 | 39 | | 9 SECTION 2. Section 21 of chapter 62C of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 |

| 40 | 40 | | 10Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “taxpayers”, in line 70, the |
