| 29 | 29 | | 1 Chapter 138 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition, is hereby |

| 30 | 30 | | 2amended by inserting after section 25E the following new section:- |

| 31 | 31 | | 3 Section 25E 1/4. Any distiller, manufacturer, importer or producer which obtains or |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 4acquires in any manner the right to sell, ship or distribute any brand item shall for the purpose of |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 5section 25E stand in the place of, and be subject to, all the rights, privileges, and duties and |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 6obligations of its predecessor from whom such brands or brand items were obtained or acquired. |
