2828 An Act relative to wildlife rehabilitators.
2929 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
3030 of the same, as follows:
3131 1 Section 58 of Chapter 112 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition,
3232 2is hereby amended by inserting after subsection 9 the following:
3333 3 10. The giving of aid or care of sick, injured, debilitated and orphaned wildlife by a
3434 4trained wildlife rehabilitator, as permitted by the Division of Fisheries and Wildlife in
3535 5accordance with 321 CMR 2.13. Permitted wildlife rehabilitators shall enter into a signed
3636 6written agreement with a veterinarian subject to written approval by the Division of Fisheries and
3737 7Wildlife which shall outline the specific procedures, services, responsibilities, and limitations of
3838 8the wildlife rehabilitator.
