| 29 | 29 | | of the same, as follows: |

| 30 | 30 | | 1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, subsection (k) |

| 31 | 31 | | 2of section 12B of chapter 76 of the General Laws shall not apply to public schools in the town of |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 3Hancock. |

| 33 | 33 | | 4 SECTION 2. Nothing in this act shall prevent public schools in the town of Hancock to |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 5continue to participate in the school choice program under section 12B of chapter 76 of the |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 6General Laws after the effective date of this act. |

| 36 | 36 | | 7 SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage. |
