2727 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2828 of the same, as follows:
2929 1 SECTION 1.
3030 2 Section XXXXX is added to read:
3131 3 Each year from October 1 through February 1 of the following year and in accordance
3232 4with the latest recommendations of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices of the
3333 5Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, each hospital shall offer, prior to discharge,
3434 6immunizations against influenza virus to all inpatients sixty-five years of age and older, unless
3535 7contraindicated, and contingent upon the availability of the vaccine.
