2828 An Act relative to efficient access to the affordable connectivity program.
2929 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
3030 of the same, as follows:
3131 1 Chapter 25C of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition, is hereby
3232 2amended by adding the following section:-
3333 3 Section 10. An internet service provider providing internet service to a household
3434 4receiving a benefit under the federal Affordable Connectivity Program shall, if the household is
3535 5an existing customer of the internet service provider prior to receiving the benefit, provide
3636 6internet service to the household receiving the benefit without interruption or delay in existing
3737 7service.
3838 8 The department shall promulgate regulations for the implementation and enforcement of
3939 9this section.
