2828 An Act requiring photo ID’s to vote.
2929 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
3030 of the same, as follows:
3131 1 Section 76B, Chapter 54 of the General Laws is hereby amended by adding the following
3232 2subsection:-
3333 3 (c) -- Any person who seeks to vote in a public election is required to establish his or her
3434 4qualifications to vote by providing a current valid photo form of identification to election
3535 5officials prior to voting. Acceptable forms of photo identification provided is either a current
3636 6driver’s license, a government employee card, a pilot’s license, military identification, a
3737 7Medicaid or Medicare card, and for students, a photo identification university card.
