2929 An Act amending the statute of limitations regarding criminal prosecutions for the crimes of
3030 sexual assault and rape of a child.
3131 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
3232 of the same, as follows:
3333 1 Section 63 of chapter 277 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting at the end
3434 2thereof the following new paragraph:-
3535 3 Notwithstanding any other provision of this section, an indictment or complaint alleging
3636 4an offense of indecent assault and battery, or an offense of rape, may be found and filed at any
3737 5time after the commission of such offense, provided that the victim was under the age of 18
3838 6when the offense was committed.
