27 | 27 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
---|
28 | 28 | | of the same, as follows: |
---|
29 | 29 | | 1 Chapter 140 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 59A the |
---|
30 | 30 | | 2following section:- |
---|
31 | 31 | | 3 Section 59B. All holders of a Class 1, Class 2 or Class 3 license pursuant to section 58, |
---|
32 | 32 | | 4all owners or operators of a motor vehicle repair shop registered pursuant to chapter 100A, all |
---|
33 | 33 | | 5owners or operators of a junkyard or automobile graveyard as those terms are defined in section |
---|
34 | 34 | | 61 of chapter 140B or any person or entity who sells or stores motor vehicle batteries shall |
---|
35 | 35 | | 7prominently display notice to the public and first responders of the presence of motor vehicle |
---|
36 | 36 | | 8batteries on the premises. Violation of this section shall be subject to a civil penalty of $250. |
---|
