| 29 | 29 | | 1 Section 131 3/4 of chapter 140 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022 Official |

| 30 | 30 | | 2Edition, is hereby amended by inserting the following paragraph:- |

| 31 | 31 | | 3 “Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, any firearm purchase |

| 32 | 32 | | 4limitations set forth in the roster shall not apply to retired law enforcement officers who posses a |

| 33 | 33 | | 5Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA) Qualification Card, pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § |

| 34 | 34 | | 6926C. Said purchaser shall be required to present their LEOSA Qualification Card to a seller at |

| 35 | 35 | | 7the time of purchase.” |
