2727 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2828 of the same, as follows:
2929 1 Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the department of transitional
3030 2assistance shall provide financial assistance to an otherwise eligible pregnant person with no
3131 3dependent child beginning when the pregnancy is verified; provided, however, that such
3232 4assistance shall be the amount for one person under the transitional aid to families with
3333 5dependent children program.
