[SIMILAR MATTER FILED IN PREVIOUS SESSION SEE SENATE, NO. 1955 OF 2023-2024.] The Commonwealth of Massachusetts _______________ In the One Hundred and Ninety-Fourth General Court (2025-2026) _______________ An Act relative to funding of the Massachusetts State House police memorial. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 Chapter 10 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020 Official Edition, is hereby 2amended by inserting after section 35PPP the following section:- 3 Section 35QQQ. There shall be established and set up on the books of the 4Commonwealth a separate fund to be known as the Massachusetts Law Enforcement Memorial 5Fund to be used without appropriation by a department of public safety for the purpose of 6making annual payments to the Massachusetts Law Enforcement Memorial to memorialize and 7honor Massachusetts law enforcement personnel killed in the line of duty. There shall be credited 8to the fund revenues received by the Commonwealth from the sale of registration plates under 9section 2G of chapter 90.
