| 32 | 32 | | 1 Section 133 of Chapter 164 of the General Laws as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition |

| 33 | 33 | | 2is hereby amended by adding in the third paragraph, in line 12, after the word “plant”, the |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 3following sentence:- |

| 35 | 35 | | 4 “Any municipal lighting plant providing emergency mutual aid may sell, rent, or lease |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 5equipment, fixtures, and goods of any description related to the provision of emergency mutual |

| 37 | 37 | | 6aid” |

| 38 | 38 | | 7 And said section is further amended by adding after the fifth paragraph the following |

| 40 | 40 | | 9 “Any employee of a municipal lighting plant providing emergency mutual aid, shall be |

| 41 | 41 | | 10covered by the provisions of chapter thirty-two, sections one to twenty-eight, inclusive, as may |

| 42 | 42 | | 11be amended from time to time, and shall have the same rights and privileges thereunder, as if |

| 43 | 43 | | 12performing such duties within the scope of his employment including voluntary assignments |

| 44 | 44 | | 13authorized by the employer.” |
