to establish standards for cost disclosure at public electric vehicle charging stations.

An Act enabling clean energy transition.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority 
of the same, as follows:
1 Section 16 of Chapter 25A of the General Laws as appearing in the 2024 Official Edition 
2is hereby amended by adding at the end after subsection (f) the following subsection:-
3 (g) The executive office of energy and environmental affairs shall promulgate standards 
4and regulations for cost disclosure at all public vehicle charging stations. The owner or operator 
5of a public electric vehicle charging station or a designee shall place at each public charging 
6station where there is a cost to charge, a standardized cost disclosure notice based on the 
7aforementioned standards.
