By Mr. Feeney, a petition (accompanied by resolve, Senate, No. 2389) of Paul R. Feeney that 
provisions be made to direct the Massachusetts Department of Transportation to conduct a 
highway noise study in the town of Foxborough. Transportation.

Resolve directing the Massachusetts Department of Transportation to conduct a highway noise 
study in the town of Foxborough.
1 Resolved, notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Massachusetts 
2Department of Transportation is hereby directed to conduct a comprehensive noise study along 
3the northbound and southbound sides of Interstate-495 in the town of Foxborough adjacent to the 
4South Grove, Grove Street neighborhood, to determine the ambient noise level generated by the 
5existing Interstate-495 traffic. Said study shall be conducted by an acoustical engineer employed 
6by or on behalf of the Massachusetts Department of Transportation. The results of the study and 
7the department recommendations shall be filed with the chairs of the joint committee on 
8transportation and the clerks of the house of representatives and the senate on or before June 1, 
92026.
