2727 An Act relative to motorcycle safety.
2828 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2929 of the same, as follows:
3030 1 SECTION 1. Section 13D of Chapter 71 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022
3131 2Official Edition, is hereby amended, in lines 22-23 by inserting the words "nationally
3232 3recognized" in front of the words "motorcycle awareness program" and in line 23, by striking the
3333 4words "Motorcycle Safety Foundation" and inserting in place thereof:- "Massachusetts
3434 5Motorcycle Rider Education Program". And by striking the following: Two dollars from each
3535 6motorcycle registration fee paid under Section 34 of Chapter 90 shall be used to fund the cost of
3636 7the required materials for the motorcycle awareness program module required by this section.
3737 8 SECTION 2. Section 32G of Chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022
3838 9Official Edition, is hereby amended, in line 203 by inserting the words "nationally recognized" in
3939 10front of the words "motorcycle awareness program" and in lines 204-205, by striking the words 2 of 2
4040 11"Motorcycle Safety Foundation" and inserting in place thereof the following words:-
4141 12"Massachusetts Motorcycle Rider Education Program". And by striking the following: Two
4242 13dollars from each motorcycle registration fee paid under Section 34 shall fund the cost of the
4343 14required materials for the motorcycle awareness program module required by this section.
