2727 An Act relative to outreach to veterans.
2828 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2929 of the same, as follows:
3030 1 Chapter 115, Section 5 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition, is
3131 2hereby amended by inserting after paragraph 7, the following:-
3232 3 "The Secretary of Veterans’ Services shall promulgate regulations to reimburse
3333 4municipalities for outreach costs by local departments of veterans’ Services to be administered
3434 5by veterans’ service officers veterans’ service officers of 75% of all outreach expenses not to
3535 6exceed $2,000".
