1111 1 SECTION 1. Section 30A of chapter 20 of the acts of 2021, as most recently amended by
1212 2section 40 of chapter 2 of the acts of 2023, is hereby further amended by striking out the words
1313 3“March 31, 2025” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- June 30, 2027.
1414 4 SECTION 2. The first sentence of section 15 of chapter 22 of the acts of 2022 is hereby
1515 5amended by striking out the words “held during the outbreak of the 2019 novel coronavirus, also
1616 6known as COVID-19, and subsequent variants,”.
1717 7 SECTION 3. The first sentence of section 26 of said chapter 22 is hereby amended by
1818 8striking out the words “during the outbreak of the 2019 novel coronavirus, also known as
1919 9COVID-19, and subsequent variants, if the moderator in a town having a representative town
2020 10meeting form of government determines that it is not possible to safely assemble the town
2121 11meeting members and interested members of the public in a common location while complying
2222 12with any applicable state or local orders, directives or guidance concerning public assemblies,
2323 13the moderator” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- the moderator in a town
2424 14having a representative town meeting form of government. 2 of 2
2525 15 SECTION 4. Section 44B of said chapter 22, inserted by section 50 of chapter 2 of the
2626 16acts of 2023, is hereby amended by striking out the words “March 31, 2025” and inserting in
2727 17place thereof the following words:- June 30, 2027.
