An Act to encourage capital investment in retail sports wagering facilities.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
of the same, as follows:
1 Section 3 of chapter 23N of the General Laws is hereby amended by striking out the last
2clause in the definition of “Category 2 license” and inserting in place thereof the following:-
3provided further, a category 2 licensee may, in lieu of the fee in section 5(f), make a capital
4investment of not less than $7,500,000 in a sports wagering facility.
