2626 An Act relative to AI-generated child sexual abuse material.
2727 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2828 of the same, as follows:
2929 1 SECTION 1. Section 29C of chapter 272 of the General Laws is hereby amended by
3030 2inserting after the words "visual reproduction" the following words:- ", including visual material
3131 3produced by digitization".
3232 4 SECTION 2. Section 31 of said chapter of the General Laws is hereby amended by
3333 5inserting before the definition of “dissemination” the following definition:-
3434 6 “Digitization”, the creation or alteration of visual material including, but not limited to,
3535 7through the use of computer-generated images, in a manner that would appear to a reasonable
3636 8person to depict a minor.
3737 9 SECTION 3. Said section of said chapter is hereby further amended by inserting, at the
3838 10end of the definition of "visual material", the following sentence:- The term "visual material"
3939 11shall include visual material produced by digitization.
