2929 An Act prohibiting COVID-19, mRNA vaccination and gene-altering procedures as a condition
3030 of entry.
3131 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
3232 of the same, as follows:
3333 1 SECTION 1. Chapter 111 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition,
3434 2is hereby amended by adding the following section:-
3535 3 Section 245. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the
3636 4commonwealth shall not require proof of vaccination against COVID-19, mRNA vaccine, or
3737 5gene-altering procedure as a condition of entry to the Commonwealth.
3838 6 Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the commonwealth and all of
3939 7its agencies, authorities and political subdivisions shall not require proof of vaccination against
4040 8COVID-19, mRNA vaccine, or gene-altering procedure as a condition of entry to a public
4141 9building. 2 of 2
4242 10 Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, no public or private
4343 11elementary school, secondary school, high school, charter school, college, university or other
4444 12post-secondary institution of higher education shall require proof of vaccination against COVID-
4545 1319, mRNA vaccine, or gene-altering procedure as a condition of enrollment, access to campus or
4646 14attendance in in-person classes.
4747 15 Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the commonwealth shall not
4848 16require any private business to require proof of vaccination against COVID-19, mRNA vaccine,
4949 17or gene-altering procedure as a condition of entry to the business, or access to employment by
5050 18such business.
5151 19 SECTION 2. The first paragraph of section 92A of chapter 272 of the General Laws, as
5252 20appearing in the 2022 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:-
5353 21 No owner, lessee, proprietor, manager, superintendent, agent or employee of any place of
5454 22public accommodation, resort or amusement shall, directly or indirectly, by themselves or
5555 23another, require proof of vaccination against COVID-19, mRNA vaccine, or gene-altering
5656 24procedure as a condition of entry to a place of public accommodation, resort or amusement.
