| 33 | 33 | | of the same, as follows: |

| 34 | 34 | | 1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding chapter 132B of the general laws or any other general or |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 2special law to the contrary, the City of Newton may by ordinance prohibit the application of |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 3second generation anti-coagulant rodenticides within the City of Newton, including application |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 4of such pesticides by licensed commercial applicators as defined in 333 C.M.R. 10.00. |

| 38 | 38 | | 5 SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage. |
