2626 An Act relative to a cranberry water use transfer program.
2727 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2828 of the same, as follows:
2929 1 Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Executive Office of
3030 2Energy and Environmental Affairs shall provide authorization that cranberry water use
3131 3registrations and permits issued pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 21G can be used for mitigation by
3232 4other municipal permitted or registered users within the same watershed, provided that users
3333 5obtain the appropriate registrations and permits issued pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 21G for the
3434 6new water use.
